Matthias Rykert's Teaching Studio
Matthias Rykert comes to us from a long family history of educators, with his specialty being string pedagogy. Mr. Rykert received a Bachelors and Masters in violin performance from Michigan State University. He moved to Los Angeles where he continued with “Advanced Studies” in violin at USC, and simultaneously started his performing and teaching career. Mr. Rykert has performed with many orchestras in Southern California, orchestras for movies, as well as recorded music with many well known artists. Mr. Rykert's private teaching studio spans over 25 years.
